In Christ Week 1

I can remember being a kid and taking a trip to Disney World. The excitement that built up in me the closer we got to the park was like a volcano. I could hardly contain myself. Then the moment we walked through the gates and experienced the "happiest place on earth" became real to my little heart. I remember going up to the castle in Magic Kingdom and then realizing for the first time that it wasn't "really a castle" where princes and princess, kings and queens lived. I felt betrayed, hoodwinked, lied to. But, Disney World was on to something. Our hearts were created to experience a real and lasting kingdom. A kingdom where we are free to explore and experience true wonder. That Kingdom is exclusively found IN CHRIST! And salvation is the doorway to a life where this experience of wonder is realized. Sadly, for many people once they entire the doorway of salvation In Christ they don't press into the vastness of what it means to be IN CHRIST. This is why I'd love to encourage you to join us as we begin to walk through the book of Ephesians as a Church. My hope and prayer through this series is that all of us will lean more, press more into Jesus and all that is made available to us in the person and work of Christ!
