Standing Firm In The Gospel

A few years ago I had the opportunity to visit a car museum with a friend of mine. I was particularly impressed by a Lamborghini that was on display. I leaned over to my friend and said, "I bet this is the fastest car in here." To which he quickly replied, "NOPE, it doesn't have an engine in it." This honestly reminds me of what Paul has been talking about in Galatians. Relying on spiritual formulas and systems give the appearance of godliness but actually deny the power of the gospel. If we truly want to grow in godliness what we actually need is to better understand the freedom we have received in Christ.
